The Girl & The Seed is a first-person perspective short story following a young girl who learns to identify and resolve her sadness through facing a series of relatable obstacles.
To mirror her personal growth, the young girl learns to nurture a seed she discovers while on a walk home from school. As she begins to understand the needs of her growing plant, she simultaneously understands herself. Each new leaf visualizes a milestone in her own life.
This story was written and illustrated by Rachel Ganey.
