PONDEROSA

Ponderosa is a music & arts festival held annually in the Coconino National Forest, just south of Flagstaff, Arizona.

This is a three day event in June. It intends on defying norms through being built within the landscape instead of destroying it. The stages exist around the natural rocks and ridges, and the paths for walking are unpaved.

The identity of Ponderosa is a modern take on classic music festival culture and southwestern American aesthetics. The design system is loosely inspired by psychedelia, but also plays with visuals alluding to electronica, such as glitching, kaleidoscoping, and halftones.
